| The IT Service Desk Analyst is primarily responsible for the resolution of 1st line support calls on the various blue chip accounts. The desk is open between 08:00 and 20.00, you will work on a shift rota. Provide 1st line support for the various blue chip clients. Remotely manage printers Identify improvements in existing operational processes and procedures. Help manage Active Directory and Exchange. Administor lotus notes. Participate, as required, in Incident and Problem Management. To investigate the cause of reported problems and make best efforts to ensure a response is completed within the service level targets. To liaise internally or with development teams 3rd party suppliers where appropriate to determine the correct approach to a problem requiring resolution. The ability to establish a good working relationship with other all IT operational groups, as well as assisting them as and when required. MCP (Server 2000/2003) or equivalent experience. (advantageous) Educated to Degree level (advantageous) Experience in Remote and Local Printer Management and Administration. HP Web Jet Admin 7.8 or above (advantageous). Experience of printer hardware. Basic Networking skills. TCP/IP - including WINS and DNS. Understanding of Active Directory. Understanding of Windows 2000 Server and Windows Server 2003. Experience of Lotus notes administration. Experience of Microsoft office. |
