Full Description:
This is a unique opportunity to join this highly regarded engineering company as a Design Engineer.

The role primarily involves working on mechanical design of motor/geared drives, shafts, bearings and sprockets forming part of a variety of types of equipment employed in the field of mechanical engineering/handling. You will also undertake some basic structural design calculations.

You should ideally be qualified to degree or HNC level with a hands on ability to design. The successful candidate will ideally have experience with mechanical handling systems associated with the steels processing industry. Any experience with industrial mechanical engineering/handling is an advantage, as is any experience in project management.

Competency in Solid Works, AutoCad, Microsoft Word, Excel and Project is essential.
