Applications are invited from individuals with experience in a customer services environment to join the IT Service Desk Team.
The IT Service Desk provides a single point of contact for all issues relating to the support and operation of the complex and extensive IT infrastructure.
Opportunities exist for staff to develop a range of skills including technical, service management and project management skills.
Applicants must have excellent communications skills and have the ability to interpret a wide range of technical issues to both technical and non-technical personnel.
The post holder will have 6 months experience in customer service, knowledge of desktop hardware and software and be experienced in the use of Microsoft office. Responsibilities will include the logging and processing of IT incidents and service requests to agreed service levels.
Applicants should be educated to A Level/HNC Level (or equivalent) and should have completed or be working towards the completion of a relevant IT qualification. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.
Excellent organisational and keyboard skills are also essential.
