Working closely with Management and the People and develpoment team to provide efficient, accurate, timely and confidential recruitment services UK to meet agreed performance levels and business objectives.
You must be able to work in Sheffield, Manchester and occasionally London (very occasionally)
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Working closely with the People and Development and colleagues in recruitment and in the business units , you will provide and carry out the following:
• Assist in the design and distribution of recruitment ads both internally and externally. Using all methods of recruitment – WEB / Telephone / Headhunting etc.
• Using agreed selection criteria; select appropriate CV’s to forward to management for initial interview process.
• Conduct initial telephone interviews with potential candidates.
• Forward recommendations to the recruiting line manager on successful telephone interviews
• Maintain recruitment data on applicants received through to successful/unsuccessful candidates.
• Provide recruitment KPI’s and maintain recruitment scorecard.
• Liaise with appropriate agencies in the facilitation of recruitment initiatives.
• Participate in job fares and develop and maintain contacts with schools, colleges, universities and local community with Recruitment manager to find and attract suitable applicants.
• Assisting management undertaking a job analysis and complete a job description and person specification.
• Advertise all vacancies internally via Infozone and internal e-mail, working with internal communications
• Identify and advise management on most appropriate media through which to advertise specific vacancies.
• Contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of selection process.
• Check eligibility of persons to work in accordance with the asylum and immigration Act 1996
• Provide weekly recruitment stats on all vacancies, closely monitoring equal opportunities, identifying potential problem areas. (see scorecard)
• In conjunction P&D Advisor, develop tracking systems to monitor turnover
Qualifications Required:
• Excellent IT skills including keyboard skills using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, web and e-mail.
• To continually develop own skills through networking, reading literature and sharing knowledge of other P&D colleagues.
Experience Required
• 3 years minimum in Sales / IT recruitment company
• Proven track record of achievement and success.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organisation and planning skills.
• Previous administrative experience
