Join one of the country's largest universities managing effective communication within the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, which itself employs in excess of 600 staff and has over 7,000 students.
There has never been a more exciting time to join us. With the Government's agenda firmly set on improving health and wellbeing, the Faculty is uniquely positioned to develop and deliver teaching, research and consultancy.
This is a new post, so you will be forging relationships inside the Faculty and across the University, to develop the Faculty intranet in order to support the Faculty communication strategy.
An experienced web professional, you must have experience of intranet or website development for a wide variety of stakeholders. You might be an expert in web design with a sound understanding of web protocols and infrastructure or you may have excellent skills in web programming with a good understanding of user interface design.
In either case you will have experience of content management systems and be able to demonstrate an understanding of information management and you will be happy to take the lead in setting standards for design and presentation, as well as for raw page code.
Working daily with the colleagues across the faculty, you will ensure the Intranet meets stakeholder needs. You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable working at every level in an organisation and will work especially closely with the communications manager, who will see the intranet as a key tool for developing the Faculty's communications.
This post is based on our Collegiate Crescent Campus but working across all campuses will be expected.
