This successful international company is looking for a screen printer to join their print department team based in Sheffield 6. The job would be to start in early 2008.

The job involves the operation of digital printing facility, screen printer and other associated printing/finishing equipment. You will make stencils and mix ink for screen/pad print activity and liaise with external print-finishing sub-contractors to ensure timely completion and delivery of customer orders. The role also involves management of inks, plus other print raw materials and consumables, including re-ordering as required. You will ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are followed.

The successful candidate will have experience of screen printing and good IT skills. You should have a good eye for colour detail and quality, and be able to follow schedules and detailed instructions. The successful candidate will also have customer service skills.

The hours for this position are in line with the production department hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, and Friday 7:30am - 11:30am.
