Job Description
My client is a world-renowned designer and supplier of a range of products, systems and engineering services to the Oil and Gas industry. Due to expansion they have a vacancy for a Sales Engineer to be based from their Sheffield site.
Duties include basic design, calculations, quotations (technical and commercial), clarifications of bids, meetings and active sales support for the worldwide network and domestic sales.
You will need to have a combination of technical insight and commercial awareness. Duties include:
Speaking with customers; technical support; using software for sizing and selection; pricing; handling queries; attending meetings.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential, this should include some involvement with instrumentation and the Oil and Gas / Petrochemical Industry (and ideally flow measurement). In addition, an engineering related qualification is preferred.
There are excellent future opportunities for development and travel.
