Job Description

This specialist manufacturing company requires an experienced service and instillation engineer to work as part of a busy team providing instillations and repairs on a range of technical machine products to clients across the UK and Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a busy team. The client provides an excellent working environment and is highly regarded both nationally and internationally for their quality products.

Duties will include;

  • Providing mechanical and electrical maintenance & repairs (dependent on employee skill) on a range on company products

  • Completing installations and modifications on site, across the UK for a range of clients This is a varied and challenging role working face to face with valued clients. The ideal candidate will currently be a mechanical and/or electrical engineer as there is currently a potential need for both within the business. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a relevant degree in electrical engineering and have a proven ability to carry out mechanical and electrical repairs to a high level of accuracy. Machine tool industry experience is essential and as is a familiarity with common controls, drives and motors eg Siemens etc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of fault finding and instillation on customer sites and modifying existing machines. Degree or qualification in electrical engineering and ideally IEE qualification is essential. Thank you for submitting your application to Sue Ross Recruitment.
