Job Description
My client is a well-established and expanding business which sells a popular range of products to household name retail outlets, and also sell directly to the public via their website. They are now looking for a Distribution Manager to join their small, friendly Sheffield based team.
The role is key to the exceptional consumer and trade reputation of the brand and requires someone who can use initiative but works well in a team.
Duties include:
Responsibility for and overseeing of warehouse function
Supervising and developing an assistant
Order processing and picking.
Generating invoices and delivery notes.
Reviewing distribution and postage costs, procedures, filing systems and management reporting.
Responding to customer queries.
Basic salary is £16,000- £18,000.
28 days holidays.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
