Job Description
WHATS'S IT ALL ABOUT??
Foundation learning is aimed at 16 - 19 year olds who have left school without any qualifications.
Through foundation learning you will develop a personalised learning programme which will take you through to Level 2 - a formal apprenticeship which will provide you with a recognised qualification at the end of al your studies.
As part of the course you will also learn basic ICT, maths and English and study employability skills like how to write a CV and interview techniques.
The course only lasts 14 weeks and gives you a real insight into the contact centre industry so that you can decide if a contact centre job is right for you.
Level One Introduction to the Contact Centre Industry covers seven units:
All of the units will be assessed through a mixture of oral and written assessment.
Apprenticeships
Study whilst working full time; a great way to earn a wage whilst gaining on the job experience
Diploma
If you’re committed to a specific career a diploma will allow you to focus your studies so that you learn all the necessary knowledge.
GCSE’s & A Levels
Gain recognised qualifications which could lead to further education or help you to be considered for a wide range of jobs in the future.
Employment
You don’t have to continue studying. Once you’ve finished Level 1, there is always the option to get your career started straight away.

Who can do the foundation course?
The course is open to 16 - 19 year olds.
Do I need any other qualifications before I start?
You don’t need any qualifications to be able to take part in foundation learning. As part of the free course you will learn basic maths, English and ICT.
How do you study?
Through a mixture of on-the-job experience and one-on-one time with an assessor. You will receive £20 per week towards travel expenses.
How long will it take?
The course is 14 weeks long.
How are you assessed?
Through verbal and written assessments.
