Job Description

A major North Sheffield based organisation need to recruit for a Payroll Clerk to join a small and lively team.

Within easy access to motorway networks, this is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a solid Payroll background to develop their career.

Your role will involve

Assisting in the process of all payroll aspects; calculate and process starters, leavers, bonus payments, salary increases, deductions, advances etc

Administer the Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity, and Pension schemes.

Arrange payment of staff salaries through the computerised payroll system.

Answering queries from staff, managers and authorised third parties.

To complete various forms required by staff, HRMC and authorised third parties.

General office duties such as, filing, post, photocopying, and answering phones.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Recent Payroll experience.
  • Good standard of general education.
  • Previous administration experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and aptitude for using figures
  • A respect for confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills.

This is a great role for someone already working in payroll who wants to work for a growing company who really look after their staff.
