Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Sheffield based client for a Debt Management Clerk.
The purpose of the role is:
- To focus on recovering debt over 30 days old before it gets to 90 days.
- Ensure minimal aged debt on allocated customers.
- Liaise with customers to resolve debt issues.
- Provide regular feedback to Debt Management Supervisor of issues and action being taken to resolve them.
- Identify problems and suggest solutions.
- Place customers on stop where appropriate.
- Ensure new accounts are set up correctly.
- Ensure company debtor policy is strictly adhered to in the event of non-payment.
Candidates will have to be organised and have excellent communication skills. Ideally candidates will have experience within collections and must be able to work under pressure, accurately and to strict deadlines.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am - 4.45pm
