Job Description
Plater Welder - Sheffield
c£9 to £9.50 per hour raising to £10 per hour after probation + overtime and benefits
Our Sheffield based client require a time served Plater/Welder to join their growing team. The role is temporary for 12 weeks and will become permanent for the right candidate. Working hours will be flexible between 24-40 hours per week although some overtime may be available.
The role will involve working on welding frames, ladders, staircases, handrails, grinding, drilling and tapping, layout, assembly.
Person Specification
- Fabrication experience required with relevant welding experience in both MIG and TIG.
- Must be able to read and work to engineering drawings to a high level of precision.
- Must be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a small team.
- A Forklift truck license, manual handling and/or abrasive wheels certificate would be advantageous but not essential.
