Job Description
Our client is a truly global company based from Sheffield but operating in 11 countries across 4 continents. The company serve the demands and high end scrutiny of the aerospace and defence sectors and due to recnt contract wins seek to appoint an experienced NDT Techniciian
The role will be varied and include;
Ultra Sonic Inspection
Non Mag Inspection
Dye Penetrant Inspection
Final inspection (dimensional and visual)
Completion of Inspection Reports
Non Conformance Reporting (IDN)
In process dimensional inspection
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Control of metrology equipment and its calibration
Coordinate measuring machine
Material Movement
Active participation in team meetings Maintaining high housekeeping standards
Training other team members
Involvement in improvement activities
Candidates will have proven hands on and practical experience which must include
Ultrasonic examination level 2
A relevant vocational qualification e.g. NVQ, HNC, HND, ONC, C&G or an appropriate apprenticeship.
Employees without these qualifications but who can demonstrate relevant industrial knowledge and experience will be considered.
Magnetic Particle examination level 2
Dye Penetrant examination level 2
Awareness of dimensional inspection techniques
Familiar with CMM equipment
Demonstrable Experience of:
Development/Improvement activities
Application of training

Personal discipline to apply the requirements and accepted standards
