Job Description
Permament-Sheffield-Days-£10 per hour +
Manual Turner required for a Sheffield engineering company. Permanent post from £10 per hour for day shifts plus plenty of overtime at good rates.
The package also includes a company pension and 33 days holiday per year.
Duties include: to use a conventional lathe to machine medium sized components for the aerospace, oil and gas industries. Machining a variety of metals to close tolerances.
Applicants must have excellent manual turning skills with a strong engineering background. An afternoon shift may also be put on in the future so applicants must also be flexible towards working hours.
The basic pay is going to be around £10 per hour, but this is negotiable for the right candidates. The overtime is paid at time & ½ over 39 hours in the week and double time on Saturdays.
The holidays are 25 plus 8 stats and there is a company pension where the client matches up to 5%
