Job Description
Apprentice Office Administrator
Function
To provide administrative support for the sales and accounts departments
Duties
The main duties for this position are:
•
Answer and screen telephone calls
Deal with customer enquires received by telephone, fax and e-mail.
Prepare and send quotations for customers using SAGE
Processing customer orders using SAGE
Obtaining prices for raw material and sub contracting services if required
Place orders using SAGE for any material or sub contract requirements
Keep all filing for sales order processing up to date
Keep all filing for the accounts department up to date
Undertake general office duties as required
Carry out basic research as required and compile data using excel spreadsheets
Welcome and control visitors. Provide hospitality for visitors
Ensure a high level of service is maintained in all dealings with customers and suppliers
Perform other duties as requested.
Applicants will have 5 A C Grade GCSEs, with good maths, English and communicationskills.You must be eligible for the Apprenticeship framework and this role will start on £2.60 per hour
