Job Description
Graduate Web Developer (PHP) - A dynamic, growing Graphic design and Web development business based in Rotherham are expanding due to increased customer demand! They are looking for an addition to join their friendly, laid-back team!
The ideal Graduate Web Developer (PHP) will be a good problem solver, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work to tight deadlines and work well within a team.
You will have an understanding of PHP & MySQL with a good knowledge of XHTML, CSS, XML and Javascript (including AJAX) A knowledge of Open Source systems & practices would be a distinct advantage.
- Creating and developing commercial websites for a variety of blue-chip customers
- Thorough use of PHP and Linux systems
- Having an innovative, out of the box approach, your focus will be based around bespoke development of creative web designs
- Writing new and updating existing code
Graduate Web Developer (PHP) will hold the following skills and experience:
- A recent graduate, with a good PHP understanding
- Web Developement experience
- Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL
- Good knowledge of XML, XHTML, CSS and Javascript (inc. AJAX)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desirable Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator, Actionscript (Flash) SOAP,Linux / Unix, Open Source Systems
