Job Description
MyJobGroup (MJG), the fastest growing network of regional jobsites in the UK, is currently recruiting into its Management Team. We are looking for an experienced coaching professional who has worked in a sales driven environment in the capacity of sales trainer/L&D Coach and with a proven background in Sales.
Role Description
The Sales Coach is a critical role supporting the initial training and ongoing professional development of our sales teams. The Sales Coach will drive adoption of our High Performance Sales methodology on the job; with particular focus sales process, core sales skills, and forecast methodology and pipeline management.
The Sales Coach will provide ongoing sales skills coaching and sales-related professional development for the new starters, experienced sales reps and Team Leads. Coaching will take place both on and off the sales floor as a supplement to the coaching that reps receive from their direct supervisor (Team Lead).In addition, this role will lead workshops on sales management practices, be the local expert on sales coaching, and provide guidance and coaching to the local sales managers and coaches accordingly.
Responsibilities
- You will be part of the management team responsible for overall team performance focused on maximizing the sales performance through direct coaching with both high performing and underperforming Sales Reps whilst supporting the Team Lead group to develop strong sales coaching capability and mindset.
- Drive content development, execution and quality of High Performing Sales Coaching
- Act as a Coach for Sales Managers to develop required coaching skill set
- Deliver Sales Coaching or training as required
- 1:1 coaching/mentoring with Sales Reps on the sales floor as required
- Collaborating with Sales Training colleagues across our sales centres to continuously refine and improve our training. Collaborating with the business to continue to enhance and refine our internal inside sales methodology and associated tools.
Required Skills/Knowledge
- Must have previously worked in a sales driven environment in the capacity of sales trainer/ Coach or proven track record in sales
- Public speaking , leading presentations or leading discussions
- Individual coaching and mentoring ability/skills
- Managing teams under stressful conditions
- Managing new product, service, or organisational development
- Making regular individual assessments of employees or others
- Experience of developing improvement plans and proven success in increasing individual sales performance
- Previous experience of creating induction plans for sales personnel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good diagnosis and problem solving skills
Advantageous
Possess a teaching qualification at PGCE/Cert Ed. Level or equivalent and has a minimum of 3 years teaching / training experience with a range of learners or hold a subject Learning Coach qualification
