Job Description

Our Rotherham based client is currently looking for a CNC Centre Lathe Turner to work on a temporary to permanent basis. Pay rate £10.20 +per hour Depending on Experience.  Hours of work are 12 hour shifts over 4 days.

The ideal candidate will be apprentice trained and have experience of working in an engineering machine shop environment. Have experience of working on a Binns & Berry with fagar controls and be able to write/edit programs.

You will be working on parts up to 28’ long working off steady’s and spiders to set the work piece used to four jaw chuck and DTI to set work true. All the work is close tolerance and operators must be able to read engineering drawings and have a good understanding of tooling used in the engineering environment. Used to using a wide range of measuring equipment including gauges. Experienced in all types of threading and including API threads which would be an advantage.

Pay rate £10.20 + per hour Depending on Experience
