Job Description
Our Rotherham based client is currently looking for a Manual Centre Lathe Turner to work on a temporary to permanent basis. Pay rate £ 10.30 + per hour Depending on Experience. Hours of work are 12 hour shifts over 4 days.
The Ideal candidate will be apprentice trained and have experience working in an engineering machine shop environment.
You will be working on products up to 10mtr long and 300mm diameter used to working off pass through and fixed steadies with the aid of spiders (thimbles). Setting the work piece true using four jaw chuck DTI and scribing block. All the work is close tolerance and operators must be able to read customer and in process engineering drawings. Screw cutting experience would be an advantage. Able to use a wide range of measuring equipment including laser tracker (training will be given).
Pay rate £ 10.30+ per hour Depending on Experience
