Job Description
The Excel group is one of the largest SME employers in South Yorkshire. We are continuing to expand and now require an additional Marketing Co-ordinator to work alongside our existing sales and marketing team.
Primary aims and duties include:
Implementing and delivering the promotion plan to promote the products and services of the Excel group of companies.
Managing the company’s three brands and all outgoing communication to support the core business aims.
Identifying and maximising appropriate opportunities to promote the company and provide both pro-active and re-active press coverage.
Maintaining and delivering internal communication strategies and organisation of company events and exhibitions, including attendance and assist in manning.
To fulfil these aims we are looking for experience in the following areas:
- PR experience or qualification to be able to handle media enquiries and also produce effective Press Releases and Editorial.
- Copywriting experience with the ability to demonstrate communicating with different audiences.
- Experience of implementing promotion plans and demonstrating achievable results from those plans.
- Experience of creating strategic and effective marketing campaigns and distributing marketing material to meet deadlines.
- Utilising a range of Marketing Communication tools.
Experience needed:-
3 - 5 years Marketing & PR experience.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Good research and evaluation skills.
Able to interact across all levels up to and including MD.
Must be able to work on own initiative
