Job Description

My client in the Barnsley area are looking for a forward thinking individual to join their team and look to help drive the business forward in what is an exciting time for the company. The Key Responsibilities -  - Managing and supporting improvements projects  - Waste reduction throughout the organisation  - Identifying improvement opportunities  - Implementing process controls  - Champion Lean Manufacturing techniques amongst the workforce  - Encouraging awareness within the workforce and act as a catalyst for effective work practices  - Identification and implementation of CI projects, including shop floor investigations .  - Data analysis and collation to communicate to workforce improving both verbal and visual. Person Sepcifications -  - to include experience of utilising Lean Manufacturing techniques including Kaizen, 5s, Visual Factory, Root Cause Analysis. Together with a proactive attitude and disire to continuosly improve things. Your personal communication and influencing skills are also of major inportance to be able to lead. You must also be a confident communicator upto board level and have excellent administration skills to ensure 100% of document control so that all jobs are signed off correctly.
