Job Description
A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic Recruitment Advisor to join this well established Apprenticeship provder that is opening a new office in Sheffield.
You will work closely with Business Advisors and the Recruitment Team Leader to promote and recruit learners onto Apprenticeships, matching suitable candidates with job vacancies. You should have a minimum of a level 2 qualification, excellent communication skills and experience of providing excellence in customer service and client relations. A proven track record in recruitment and achieving targets would be desirable.
- To perform effective pre-registration and screening of candidates and collation of all applications.
- To interview all relevant candidates in preparation for selection for interview.
- To proactively market candidates to employers.
- To update the candidate database.
- To maintain and update client records on CRM.
- To gain leads/referrals from existing candidates/clients.
- To take responsibility for achieving agreed targets.
- To attend appropriate candidate promotional events, networking events, conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
- To prepare candidate CVs/Profiles, as necessary.
- To complete monthly/quarterly activity plans for approval by the Business Development Team Leader.
- To supervise and support apprentices within the Apprenticeship Academy when required.
- To take and record comprehensive job and person specifications as appropriate.
- To pre-select and sell candidates over the telephone.
- To shortlist and submit candidate CVs/profiles as appropriate.
- To arrange interviews where appropriate.
- To negotiate Terms of Business to clients.
- To prepare candidiates for interview with our external clients.
- To provide interview feedback to clients/candidates.
- To provide excellent aftercare for all starts – candidate and client.
- To contribute to the Training Quality Standards criteria by producing required evidence.
- To liaise with the Senior Business Advisor to ensure marketing strategy is appropriate.
- To liaise with Senior Business Advisor to ensure effective partnership and communication.
- To contribute to the development of procedures and follow the quality standards that are in place.
- To provide a professional customer service to both internal and external customers.
- To demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing demands
- To take responsibility for one’s own professional development and continually update as necessary.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the job.
