Job Description
My client is one of the largest Providers of Apprenticeship provision in our region and are opening new offices in Sheffield.
The successful Applicant will be expected to establish contacts with employers and clients and secure business and maintain effective key account managment with employers to help ensure the Organisation consistently meets their business needs
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To effectively target markets using a range of sales approaches, including cold calling, field sales, mail shots and sales appointments.
- To negotiate and secure new and existing business using a variety of methods, including producing proposals, delivering presentations and agreeing contracts in order to provide solutions to meet business needs.
- To proactively seek contracts, tenders and sales to meet business needs.
- To take responsibility for achieving agreed sales and profit targets.
- To help companies diagnose their requirements for learning by producing training needs analysis.
- To carry out Health and Safety pre vets as part of the contractual implementation process for employers.
- To provide weekly reports on activity and secured business.
- To update all sales activity on the CRM system.
- To attend appropriate networking events, conferences, seminars and exhibitions that encourages employers to engage with the Company
- Evaluate the employers solutions to ensure we are meeting real time business needs.
- To complete the necessary administration to ensure the college fulfils its contracts relating to employer responsive provision.
- To manage relationships with clients and carry out employer/learner surveys face to face.
- To contribute to the Training Quality Standards criteria by producing required evidence.
- To liaise with key staff to ensure employer marketing strategy is appropriate.
- To liaise with line management to ensure effective partnership and communication.
- To seek and secure alternative sources of funding for the College that adds a lucrative income.
- To establish and maintain effective account management, producing monthly progress reports for key identified clients.
