Legal Secretary (Direct) – National Legal firm

Our Client is a large national law firm with offices strategically placed throughout the UK. With their growing workforce, envied customer base and a solid portfolio of legal services, they are well placed for further growth in both the consumer and business markets. Due to internal movement, they now have an immediate opening for an experienced Direct (one on one) Legal Secretary to be based at their Sheffield office.
As a One on One Legal Secretary you will support a newly qualified solicitor in the day-to-day running of his business. More specifically you will oversee diary management, book accommodation and arrange travel as required, collate and manage case files, performing general administrative tasks and have direct contact (both inbound and outbound) with clients. This fantastic role will cover a variety of areas but it is anticipated that the majority of work will revolve around Personal Injury and Negligence cases. Applications are invited from candidates who possess a minimum of 12-18 months legal secretarial experience, ideally gained in Personal Injury and Negligence. You will be an excellent communicator, have typing skills in excess of 60 wpm, show attention to detail and be extremely professional in both appearance and demeanour.
The successful candidate can expect an initial base salary of 16k with an exceptional benefits package, which includes 25 days holiday, a personal pension plan, BUPA, child care vouchers, staff bonus and so much more.
