Job Description
Based in Barnsley my client is a national manufacturing organisation is looking to recruit an accounts assistant to join their small but busy finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control using Sage line 50. This role is initially temporary to cover a busy period and to assist with year end and requires someone who is available to start within the next week.
Your duties will include:
Processing invoices
Matching and coding invoices
Dealing with invoice queries
Statement reconciliations
Raising sales invoices
Credit control
For this role you must be able to demonstrate practical skills within purchase or sales ledger. For the right candidate this role may extend past its initial 3-6 month contract and could become a permanent opportunity.
