Job Description
Our client, a busy Sheffield based auctioneers, is currently recruiting a part time Cashier to help ensure all incoming payments are banked and processed accurately on a timely basis. The role is offered on a part time basis and successful candidate must be available to work on Auction days, 2 to 3 Saturdays per month 10am to 5pm as well as each Wednesday 10am to 4pm. You must have the ability to work on your own initiative, make decisions and manage your own workload. You must be confident and a strong communicator to help develop effective working relationships with both colleagues and customers. Responsibilities include; collection and processing of payments, balancing of till and banking of receipts, bank reconciliations, maintenance and upkeep of ledgers and spreadsheets etc. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent part time role, within a friendly team.
