Job Description

Our client is a leading debt management company based in Sheffield working with a variety of clients including a host of household names and blue chip organisations.

We are currently recruiting for a Collections Team Manager to join the team.

Hours are shifts including 8am - 4pm, 9am to 5pm and 12pm to 8pm, plus some Saturdays.

The salary is £18,000 to £23,000 plus profit related bonus.

The role:

• €¢ To manage and motivate a team of negotiators to maximise monies collected and appointments booked

• €¢ Agree team and individual targets in order to achieve business objectives

• €¢ Manage capacity to achieve optimum call levels and collections of monies in a blended dialler driven environment

• €¢ To recognise and understand training needs and coaching requirements for team members

• €¢ Conduct monthly one to one feedback meetings with all team members and conduct full annual appraisals

The person:

• €¢ Superb interpersonal skills required to motivate the team and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally

• €¢ Good verbal and listening skills

• €¢ Proven track record of setting and delivering against targets in a fast paced collections environment

• €¢ Experience of working in a dialler driven environment

• €¢ Experience of people management

• €¢ Excellent numeric skills

• €¢ IT literate

• €¢ Be able to pass a credit check
