Job Description
REED Specialist are working with a leading Engineering Company.
Due to Demand we are looking for a CNC Horizontal Borer, candidates must have experience of CNC Boring.
Working with Medium to Large Fabrications as well as working to tight tolerance's.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
The candidate will have gained several years' experience of horizontal boring in a similar environment for e.g. (small to medium size components working up 20 tonnes single piece weight), and will be fully competent at setting up and operating a large CNC horizontal boring machine. They will be working mostly on their own iniative on large high precision fabricated components such as gearboxes and housings weighing up to 5 tonnes and measuring up to 2m x 2m x 2m. They will be expected to bore, mill and drill to very close tolerances and have a pride in the quality of their work. They will need a good understanding of CNC control in general, as most of the jobs are one-offs, and experience of Heidenhain controls in particular.
£21,963 + OVERTIME + BONUS - DAYS ONLY.
