Job Description
Main Purpose of Job:
The main purpose of the role is to play an active role within a team of administrators, providing ?first point of contact? support to a portfolio of customer accounts, including deputising in colleagues? absence. The candidate will also provide exceptional customer service and exceed customer expectations wherever possible and play a major role in ensuring customer orders are shipped on time.
Task and Responsibilities
The key objectives of this appointment are as follows:-
Ensure that customer orders are actioned promptly and accurately, providing feedback to customers on expected ship dates
Deal with all customer enquiries in a timely manner - this will required prioritising workload to consider factors such as ?time difference? and any translation requirements
Actively support other members of the team when you have spare capacity to ensure orders and / or enquiries are dealt with on time
Where possible, pro-actively take steps to avoid shipments being late
Ensure that when problems arise, prompt and effective corrective action is taken to ensure a satisfactory conclusion is reached for all parties
On an ad-hoc basis, participate in any project work which may arise
When necessary, spend time with customers during Head Office visits and occasionally in hospitality arrangements during the evening
