An exciting new opportunity has just become available for an experienced management accountant at a large public sector organisation in Doncaster town centre. The role offers progression and a wide range of duties for the successful candidate. The post holder will be responsible for producing the management accounts for a number of areas of the business including facilities, estates and the corporate office. As a result a confident approach when dealing with budget holders and non-finance staff is important.
Other duties for this role will include VAT returns. quarterly reports, forecasting and adhoc project work as required. If interested in this post you will need to be available for interview at short notice, have experience of working in management accounts and ideally have previously worked within the public sector though this is not essential. The successful candidate will need to be nearing completion or qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA and be confident on IT systems including Excel.
