Job Description

Inspire Resourcing Ltd are proud to be working with a market leader in the CCTV Industry. Our client sets up & configures digital CCTV systems Globally. They currently have a team of 4 engineers working on exciting new projects but require an additional member due to increased work load.

The role will involve: Ensuring customers IT issues are resolved with a quick response time. Full IBM XSeries installations from racking to configuring from scratch. Providing remote support using VNC Windows Remote Desktop Installing in-house Java based software & fully configuring servers & RAS servers Using IBM DB2 database application to troubleshoot SQL issues Travelling worldwide to complete installations Installing various network switches Cisco, HP, Netgear etc Supporting backup technologies such as Tivoli Storage Managers, Net vault etc Virus detection removal skills Working in high pressure situations for some of the largest companies in the world. This is a Customer focused role, completed to customers diary’s not our own.

Qualifications/Experience

The environment is a fast paced, project based company that has delivered state-of-the-art systems all across the world.

The role requires:

Essential:

strong knowledge of Windows XP, 2003 I.T. systems building Knowledge of server hardware, assembly and infrastructure I.T. network experience, including system design and implementation experience of Technical Support is a distinct advantage Good customer presentation skills

Bonus, but not essential:

MSCE accreditation

Salary: 16-20K + Vehicle
