Job Description

We are currently seeking a Float Legal Secretary to join our client in their prestigious city centre offices in Sheffield. 

This interesting and varied role requires the suitable applicant to provide full secretarial support to Fee Earners within numerous legal departments, ensuring the smooth running of the firm at times of staff leave and absence.

Duties include:

  • Approx. 80% typing (audio 60%) general correpsondence and documents
  • Diary management
  • Reviewing post/emails/faxes etc
  • Updating files, filing
  • Administrative tasks
  • Dealing with expense reimbursements etc.
  • Providing assistance throughout the business when required.

Essential requirements are:

  • Min. typing speed of 65wpm.
  • Min. of 2 years secretarial experience in a professional services background.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word 2000
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook
  • Legal experience a distinct advantage
  • Good communication and team working skills
