Our client is the world's leading specialist in the manufacture of wire and rope solutions for the most demanding applications.

They are currently looking for a technically minded individual who is educated to at least HNC-level (or equivalent) with some quality assurance experience to join our expert team in Doncaster. Working as a Quality Assurance Coordinator, the primary focus for this role is to maintain their quality management systems, ensuring all procedures and work instructions are accurate.

The successful candidate will be accountable for improving their quality management systems by ensuring they comply with various standards, such as ISO 9001, CARES and DNV OS-E304. Other duties include making recommendations for improvements based on careful analysis and then introducing these in both the manufacturing and administrative functions. You must also amend any agreed changes to documented procedures and act as a key contact for customers/third parties during company audits.

In order to be considered for this role, it is essential you are educated to at least HNC-level (or equivalent) in either a quality assurance, technical or engineering discipline, coupled with a recognised qualification in quality management eg UKAS recognised Certificate in Quality Systems Assessment (ideally to Lead Assessor level). You must already have some quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment including writing quality procedures to a good standard. Another pre-requisite is being able to analyse and present performance/statistical data, as is having demonstrable customer communication skills.

After applying for this role you will be sent an email that it is essential you read in order to complete your application. Unlike a traditional agency we do not hold a database of candidates or put candidates forward for any other vacancies than those to which they have applied.
