My client is seeking an experience Conference and Events Sales Executive to be based in Doncaster.Overall Responsibilities:To contribute to the growth of the Conference & Events business, maximising occupancy and revenue, through proactive selling and effectively converting enquiries into sales. To ensure all clients and potential clients receive a polite, professional and efficient service, ensuring all hotel and company standards are maintained and all current legislation is adhered to.Working as part of the hotel team to ensure that all contact with customers and guests transpires to become a reflection of the hotel’s consistent delivery of the highest standards of product and service.Operational Tasks:To take bookings for all Conference & Events business, as per the hotel and company standards.To ensure bookings are managed to maximise sales, occupancy and revenue.To carry out all the Sales and Marketing for departmentTo upsell all Conference and Events Equipment, Food and Beverage and other hotel facilities when taking bookings.To accurately input all clients requests into the hotel booking system.To assist the client with any special requests.To assist the Administrator in sending out and follow up of all contracts to confirmed bookings, ensuring the hotel and company standards are maintained.To identify all sales opportunities and effectively convert into bookings. With assistance from the Conference & Events Administrator Manager / Senior Coordinator, to plan and manage seasonal peaks and business trends to ensure the maximisation of occupancy, revenue and profit.To assist with the organisation and booking of appointments and Fam. Trips with potential business clients.To carry out Fam. Trips with potential clients as per the hotel standards.Prior to conducting the Fam. Trip, communicate with the Conference & Events Operations department and check all areas that will be shown.To instruct Administrator on sending out proposal packs to potential clients as per the hotel and company standards.To liaise with the Administrator and follow up all potential clients that have been sent proposal packs.To check the details are correctly stated on the function sheets of all bookings taken, prior to the Administrator distributing.To assist the Administrator in carrying out calls to future clients to confirm all requirements for the Conference or Event.To ensure the method of payment is agreed with clients and credit is maintained as per the hotels standard.To liaise with the accounts department and assist where necessary in the collection of all outstanding payments.To directly communicate to the Heads Of Departments to ensure that client requests are met.To ensure that all amendments, late bookings and special requirements are communicated effectively.To directly communicate with Reservations when assistiQualifications/Skills RequiredCandidate must be sales focussed and have some conference/events experience.To act in a positive and polite manner towards work colleagues.To actively work as part of the department team to achieve the department objectives.To support hotel team members wherever possible to achieve hotel objectives.
