MECHANICAL ENGINEER ACCOUNT MANAGER

£32,000 - £35,000 + COMPANY CAR + LAPTOP + MOBILE PHONE

FULL TIME

DETAILS:

Our client is one of the countries leading contract vehicle management companies. They provide large, industrial companies with truck and wagon fleet management options:

• Repairs & Maintenence.

• Fleet Management.

• Purchase & Leaseback.

• Contract Hire.

• Breakdown & Emergency Call Outs.

• Distribution.

The role is full time, permanent. You will be required to work 2 days per week from the Leeds office and the remaining time you will be travelling around the country visiting clients. The role will involve some overnight stays. The role comes with an excellent salary, company car, mobile phone and laptop plus good company benefits and progression.

Duties:

• Contacting and liaising with current and potential clients.

• Visiting clients onsite and carrying out needs assessements of their wagon fleet.

• Drawing up a tailored service for new clients.

• Looking at all wagon and truck fleets, advising on better maintenance contracts.

Skills:

• A mechanical engineering background.

• Knowledge of dealing with HGV 7.5 tons and above.

• Good commucication skills.

• Full driving license.

• Good PC skills - able to use Word, Internet, Email, Excel packages.

• Smart appearence.

• Able to work to targets and deadlines.

• Able to work on own initiative.

• Previous experience of dealing with fleet management.
