Position: ELECTRONIC PRODUCT DESIGN MANAGER
Location: Leeds
Salary £26k-£28k

Our client is a market leader in with a full range Electrical products, with an expanding base of customers covering over 80 countries worldwide.

Performance Criteria - Product Development

?Understand wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams and parts list to determine product quality and make recommendations to improve products design, performance and quality
?Conduct a technical appraisal and re-engineering of competitor products
?Work with our factories and engineers to bring technically advanced market leading products to market
?Participate in technical forums, industry think tanks to ensure the company is always at the forefront technology and innovation
?Discuss products, concepts and ideas with customers to determine new product opportunities
?Conduct FMEA analysis on new and existing products
?Identifying of new product ranges
?Ensure product compliance and legal requirements

Performance Criteria - Product Marketing and Customer Support

?Writing of product instructions
?Support and assist sales team with direct and indirect customer support
?Produce and provide product and market training
?Assist in creating and maintaining internal and external product databases

Experience in the following is desirable but not essential as training will be given:-

?Develop packaging, literature and communication media
?Formulate product launch programmes
?Establish product pricing strategy
?Establish sales forecasts
?Assist in the production of budget information
