A superb job opportunity has arisen in Sheffield for a soon to qualify or qualified finance professional to join this successful Housing Association to head up their finance team.

The housing association is well established in the Sheffield area managing circa a 1000 properties, with a rental income of c £3m as well as number of shared ownership schemes and new developments.

Your role will be to manage and protect the business assets and to operate an effective and efficient system of control to ensure the associations finances are safeguarded. To oversee the production of annual and management accounts and reports, to alert management to risk and help provide control mechanisms and monitoring where appropriate. In addition you will supervise the work of, and assist with recommendations of internal audit and control as well as treasury management including the loan portfolio (c £10m).

You will be an experienced finance professional who is either due to complete their professional studies shortly or already be qualified. Ideally you will of gained relevant experience from a housing or not for profit background, however applications from those with a commercial background are also encouraged.
