VENUEMASTERS is a company promoting the facilities available for hire by event organisers at around 80 universities and other academic venues throughout the UK. We are looking for a friendly and professional individual to join our team which is based at offices in the centre of Sheffield.

The role involves maintaining the company accounts efficiently and effectively using Sage Line 50. You will be preparing sales invoices and recording their payment, plus checking and paying purchase invoices and dealing with any queries relating to these accounts. Experience of using Sage Line 50 would be an advantage but not essential as we will provide the necessary training for the right candidate.

Candidates should be:
•Able to work on their own initiative and also in a team environment
•Able to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in their work
•Able to demonstrate good organisational skills to prioritise their work
•Able to demonstrate good communication skills in a professional and friendly manner
•Enthusiastic and proactive in wanting to develop their current skill set

Functions of the post:
•To maintain the company accounts efficiently and effectively using Sage Line 50
•To provide basic financial services to other partnership organisations
•To provide general administration services and support to other staff as required

21 hours per week plus performance related pay and other benefits
