PCB ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE– ROTHERHAM

NEG DOE – COMPETATIVE + OVERTIME

Our new client is based in Rotherham; they offer leading product design in several global markets including tobacco, control & instrumentation and commercial. Embracing new technologies with the very best in CAD/CAE systems allowing key customers to benefit from our clients extensive electronic product design experience. They also manufacture PCB assemblies for high reliability markets such as Aerospace, Telecoms and Broadcast.

Due to an increase in orders there are opportunities in the operations department. We are currently looking to recruit on their behalf a PCB Assembly Operator.

Ideal candidate must be able to answer yes to all the following skills and experiences;

Solder conventional components with three to five years experience or IPC-A-610 class 2 with in date certificate.(non essential) Pre-form, insert and crop components leads using hand tools such as cutters, pliers etc. Understand component identification codes such as resistors, capacitors and IC’s Work from assembly drawings and items lists Incorporate modifications such as wire links and track cuts Understand the general requirements for PCB assembly and anti-static control Hand place surface mount components Must be able to build PCBS

The successful candidate will have electronics experience, ideally formal qualifications in electronics; also you must have a three year checkable work history in a relevant field.

Please note this is a permanent role and the hours of work are 37.5 PER WEEK, MON-FRI, 8AM-4.30PM, Overtime is required on a regular basis and any employee is required to work when orders require it.
