Job Description
Team leader required to oversee an inbound order processing team consisting of 4 processors and a receptionist. You will liaise closely with external sales agents and co ordinate the resulting workload with the distribution centre. The primary responsibilities will be the planning and prioritising of workloads, monitoring and improving systems, motivation and supervision of the team and the planning of absence and holidays. Your relationship with the Distribution Centre will include managing timelines, setting deadlines and prioritising tasks via weekly meetings.
The successful candidate must possess substantial experience of working in a sales order team with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role. Excellent communication and telephone skills are essential as is IT literacy, in particular Excel. Previous sales experience is desirable as is a working knowledge of retailing and on line business. You will be used to working to tight deadlines and must be able to lead, motivate and delegate in a tem environment.
