Job Description
Our client is a leading brand name, with a fantastic reputation across the world. They are currently recruiting for a proven merchandiser to provide a comprehensive link between themselves and their rapidly expanding national client based in Sheffield.
You will be responsible for maximising the stock provided by the company, by analysing sales data, promotion plan information and other customer business information in order to feedback high quality sales forecasts to the company.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm, 4 days of which will be based in Sheffield and one day in Manchester. Due to the need to visit stores across South Yorkshire you will require a full driving license.
Typical duties and responsibilities:
Maintain excellent effective operational communications between the two parties
Understand store by store sales patterns, growth trends and promotional activities in order to produce seasonal sales forecasts
Create a seasonal blanket order
Produce detailed stock allocation plan
Provide detailed feedback to account managers
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
€¢ Proven experience in merchandiser role, ideally as an inter company merchandiser
€¢ Effective communication skills
€¢ Good analytical skills with experience of producing detailed stock allocation plans and sales forecasts
€¢ Excellent understandings of growth trends and promotional activities
€¢ Experience of launching products in new stores
€¢ Full UK driving license
