Job Description
Our client is looking for a proven IT sales executive to join their successful team.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT sales with experience of lead generation, new business development and account management. Commercial awareness is essential as is the ability to self motivate and thrive on achieving targets. The role requires someone with excellent communication skills and a professional approach at all times.
Duties will include
€¢ General telephone sales and canvassing.
€¢ Generation of sales leads for self and the sales department.
€¢ Making appointments.
€¢ Inputting of data onto sales database.
€¢ Building and managing own client portfolio
€¢ Attending sales meetings.
€¢ Field and office based sales
€¢ Building relationships with customers and expanding maintenance contracts.
€¢ Reporting customer feedback and liaising with engineering on service issues.
€¢ Liaising with suppliers and ordering stock
Skills/ personal attributes
€¢ Presentable appearance.
€¢ Enthusiastic and energetic.
€¢ Good interpersonal and oral and written communications skills.
€¢ Sales presentation and negotiation skills
€¢ Reasonable level of computer literacy.
€¢ Capable of being self-motivated.
€¢ Some previous experience of telephone sales preferred.
€¢ Confident in dealing with people face to face and on the telephone
.• Commercial awareness of purchasing procedures and pricing.
€¢ Driving license, ( or working towards driving license)
