Job Description

Critically acclaimed restaurant require a Maitre d' to take ownership of their front of house operation. Situated in a picturesque tourist hot spot this establishment is renowned for the standard of food served by their Head Chef who learnt his trade alongside Marco Pierre White. The menu is traditional English with a twist and uses the finest locally sourced ingredients resulting in unrivalled brasserie dishes. Furthermore, they can boast a stylish and relaxing Bar area with an extensive cocktail menu and regular live music. You will receive and allocate reservations, meet and greet all customers providing a warm and welcoming first impression. It will be your responsibility to manage an efficient service ensuring the connection between kitchen and dining room runs smoothly. You will also help manage the waiting staff , assign sections and resolve any complaints.The successful candidate will be a food service professional who can provide expert advice and possesses the ability to make all customers feel special. Experience of a similar role is essential including Head Waiters or restaurant managers with a knowledge of fine dining.
