Job Description

The Role...

You will be part of a dynamic team on a green field project where your role will consist of building enterprise web applications, developing high quality, complex, UX driven systems, learning portlet technologies, building web applications following a behaviour / test driven methodology, mentoring other programmers etc. You will be given the support to learn quickly and will work with a team of experienced developers in a wide range of technologies, with acknowledged project managers in a relaxed environment where your work is more important than what you wear!

The Successful Candidate...

Will need to have a good understanding of the issues related to delivering systems that are robust secure, standards compliant and accessible. You will have Commercial experience in Struts, JSP or JSF, Hibernate, J2EE core technology and any experience in Facelets / Velocity or Portal/Portlet is extremely desirable. JavaScript skills (Prototype or jQuery) are a must. As well as working on flagship client accounts, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in other projects and to learn other technologies and languages. You will be a strong team player with the ability to learn quickly and with have enthusiastic interest in (almost) everything web and in emerging technologies.
