Looking for a Information, Communication and Technology Teacher and Design and Technology Teacher over 4 days a week with the possibility of 5 days in the future dependant on service needs.
With excellent pay package with main pay scale and SEN point our client requires a teacher before Easter 2009 or sooner if possible.
Our client serves the community of young people who attend a Young Peoples Centre. Our client is a Child and Adolescent Mental Health resource and admits pupils from Sheffield and beyond. Pupils have emotional and behavioural problems which are addressed through multi disciplinary therapeutic support. Placements are normally short term and young people are integrated back into school, college or training placements on discharge.
The school recently acheived Runner up in the National ICT Excellence awards and been awarded the prestigious ICT mark. The school was judged by Ofsted in March 2007 as a good school with several outstanding features. We are also the holders of a Government Charter mark until 2010.
The successful candidate would also be responsible for the delivery of Design and Technology and should have the appropriate skills and experience to work within a workshop situation.
Working alongside a dedicated staff team who are flexible and engaging with families and young people in a therapeutic and educational setting. If successful you will be part of the wider multi disclipinary team and would contribute to appropriate meetings within the unit. This is a rare opportunity to work within a stimulating and
