En Route provides a service for Offenders, ex offenders or those at risk of offending aged 18 years or over. The project provides supported accommodation for up to two years, aiming to equip people with the personal, social and practical skills to enable them to move on to alternative housing of their choice.
Located in Barnsley, the service works hand in hand with tenants, local and national agencies.
The team consists of one Project Manager, Two full time Project Workers and a part time Support Worker. You will need the ability to demonstrate sensitivity, responsiveness and provide support in a respectful manner; to communicate with a wide range of people verbally and in writing and be able to work as part of a team.
This post is based at Pitt Street in central Barnsley. 18.5 Hours per week, 27 days annual leave, 12 bank holidays (all Pro Rata) attractive pension scheme,
