The role has 2 HR Officers and payroll reporting into the position
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring HR is integrated into the business at all levels and is part of all decisions taken (strong understanding of current business and people priorities is essential
Capable person who has previous experience coaching managers to ensure that excellent suitable quality candidates are recruited, looking at putting structure in to retain good staff, and develop the business further
Develop innovative HR practices to drive individuals and business performance forward
Develop and promote the new culture and values of the business, ensuring continuous improvement remains top priority of the business teams
Raise the profile of the business in local and surrounding areas - working towards this company being an employer of choice
Requirements
Ideally CIPD qualified
Strong inspirational team manager
Be able to demonstrate drive, determination and to deliver the HR business plan within the business

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in most of the following:-
Previous experience in distribution centres, retail, or fmcg manufacture would be an advantage.
Previous experience of working a distribution site that has undergone rapid growth and has required continuous improvement, re-structure, training and development of existing workforce, work on site succession plans career planning, identifying training needs, analysed and developed the appropriate L & D solutions and facilitated Team Leader Development Programme. Spearheaded and worked in partnership with operational Managers to develop strategies to drive the employee engagement programme at site level and assisting in the development of employee listening groups, delivered concept of model to site Management teams, and assisted in the development of Engagement Framework Models. Guided Managers to focus on the bigger picture and engage change. Involved in serious re-structure of departments within a business.
