An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Sales Ledger Clerk to cover a maternity leave in the South Sheffield Area. The company is within the manufacturing industry and has a £20million turnover. You will be expected to work alongside the Credit Controller and provide full Sales Ledger invoicing support to the team.
Duties include:
Creating and uploading all sales invoices from sales orders
Processing invoices on a daily basis
Reviewing sales orders and ensure they are billed at the correct time
Producing sales credits
Re-invoicing
Assisting the chasing of outstanding debt
Liaising internally and with clients to resolve billings queries
Dealing with any discrepancies
Skills needed:
At least one years sales ledger/credit control experience
Billings or sales invoicing experience
Good communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good financial understanding
