You will be responsible for generating sales; this will be achieved through working with the sales teams and by proactively generating leads and new opportunities. You will be responsible for generating new business leads, contacting a range of companies across the UK but mainly in Yorkshire. This sales role is business to business across a range of all sectors, contacting the decision makers and assessing the business needs with a view to arranging appointment to go and visit the clients on site. This is an office based sales role you will need to have determination and drive to progress. A typical day will therefore involve calling new prospect clients, following up existing and potential clients, attending prospect meetings, writing bids, and attending networking events to promote the companies facilities.
The Successful Candidate…
The successful candidate will need to be a persuasive, articulate and motivated individual who can manage sales processes and be an effective Sales Executive. Previous experience in sales is important as is a ‘can do’ attitude and the determination to succeed. You will be dealing with business queries and have so will need to have solid transferable skills. You will be a team player who can add a spark and drive to the working environment and who has great communication skills and a good working ethic.
